Network Group Meetings  

 

These group meetings are free to all BACP Coaching Division members, providing opportunities for networking, CPD and involvement in the development of BACP Coaching. All BACP members are welcome to attend for up to three meetings - thereafter we ask you to join the Coaching Division, �if you wish to continue participating. Non-members are welcome to join us and pay a nominal fee of �10. Please book your place or for further information by either contacting the Regional Network Group co-ordinator direct (see below) or via�Events. �Please check this website regularly for additional locations and meetings as well as our journal "Coaching Today". There are plenty of opportunities to be involved with the network meetings. �Currently we are looking for volunteers to step into the shoes of our BRIGHTON AND SUSSEX team and also to start BRISTOL and �SCOTLAND REGION. Description:�I am a therapist? I am a coach? What kind of supervision do I need? Discussion of�challenges for therapy and coach supervisors and changes being made to the BACP Ethical Framework. Anne is a registerd Therapy Supervisor and Accredited Coaching Supervisor. She worked with Association of Coaching to develop the accreditation process for coaching supervisors.�She will be joined by a 'panel' �of people from a range of �therapy and coaching associations, including APECS, CSA, BACP, AC, and Oxford Brookes University. Doug Strycharczyk is recognised as a leading authority on the application of mental toughness into just about every sector of society and the economy. He has authored, with Peter Clough, Developing Mental Toughness (Kogan Page 2012) and co-authored a chapter in Coaching in Education (Karnac 2011) and has been instrumental in taking the concept of mental toughness into the Education Sector in more than 80 countries by the end of 2013.

Description:Sue Sutcliffe, BACP Senior Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and Lifestyle Coach, will explore how coaching can be integrated into the arena of therapy by use of the appropriate structures to give a secure foundation for change and development.Everyone will be encouraged to bring material from their own practices or experiences and to engage in some inter-active experiential work based on family systems.

The goal is to allow those attending to feel as well as hear how the process of identifying deep-rooted but dysfunctional family dynamics can allow us to make different choices which can produce very positive outcomes.
