Opportunities to Get Involved

BACP Coaching welcomes Volunteers to support our endeavours

It’s almost a year since BACP Coaching was established and it’s been a very exciting time. We’re now recruiting more volunteers from our membership to continue our growth.

1. Deputy Chair, BACP Coaching

Would you like to be Deputy Chair of BACP Coaching, or would you like to nominate someone?

The role of Deputy Chair is a voluntary one (expenses paid), as a member of the BACP Coaching Executive, working closely alongside the Executive and the Chair of the Division. More details about the role and person spec here   pdf file Deputy Chair Person Specification  pdf file BACP Coaching Deputy Chair Role Spec Sept2011

To apply please contact Julie Camfield, Divisional Officer at julie.camfield@bacp.co.uk for a nominations form by 31st October 2011, to be returned to Julie at BACP by 14th November 2011. Where we have more than 1 applicant, an invitation to take part in a ballot will be sent out to all coaching division members (via email or letter) and informing them that ballot papers are available to download from the BACP Coaching website. Completed and signed ballot papers must be returned by post to Julie at BACP by 12th December. The successful applicant will be notified shortly afterwards and the results communicated to members.

2. Local Network Co-ordinators

We currently have regular network groups running for our members in Central London, East London, York, Scotland and Oxford - in fact there are 18 meetings already planned between September 2011 and early next year.  If you would like to run a local group for networking, learning or co-coaching, please download details from the website and then get in touch with Jayne Hildreth, Head of Link Leads, at enquiries@jaynehildrethconsultingltd.co.uk    Role details here pdf file Local Network Coordinator - Role Spec

We’re particularly keen to start groups in:

The Southwest of England; The Southeast (eg Kent); East of England; West Midlands; East Midlands; The Northwest; The Northeast; Wales; Northern Ireland.

3. Executive Specialists

From time to time we need additional Executive Specialists to bring specific skills and experience to the BACP Coaching Executive to support and advise us on areas of strategy, policy, process or professional coaching practice. Executive Specialists are co-opted onto the Coaching Executive for a fixed period. Priority areas for 2012 include Marketing Communications (Digital and Print).
